  Theme:
*   Literacy - the fun of learning to read

  Brief Synopsis:
The performers introduce the audience to expectations and to books on the set. They begin with familiar titles and then bring up an oversized old book to read. It contains a "grumpy old man" who is looking for Lewis, the puppet and main character. Lewis is learning to read and has very strong likes and dislikes. As the actors go through different books with him, certain stories come alive through music (songs from Bill Harley) dance and magical puppet characters. Lewis finally tires (it says so in his own book that he can now read) and reluctantly falls asleep to a lullaby.
